Finally Some Relief!

Boy am I a happy camper writing this post! A cold front is expected to slide through this afternoon, which will help to usher in more comfortable temperatures…FINALLY! The only downfall is that showers and thunderstorms will be the price to pay for the cooler temperatures. While it won’t rain all day, expect periods of showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon hours, some heavy. By tomorrow evening, I expect that most spots will end up with a quarter to half inch of rain, with isolated spots picking up more. We should avoid much in the way of severe weather tomorrow, though some of the storms may be strong with gusty winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. As for temps, most spots should only make it to 80 or so due to the clouds, timing of the front, and precipitation. Once the front passes through, we set the stage for a rather brilliant Saturday with temps in the middle 80s and low humidity! For the rest of the forecast, check out the “7-Day Forecast” page!
