After a fabulous Tuesday (sunny and 50s), expect partly to mostly cloudy skies through this afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 60s. I’ll have a full update posted by this evening, which includes cooler temps and heavy rainfall for tomorrow afternoon-Fri AM.
Boy oh boy are we being spoiled by such nice weather! Normal highs are still in the middle 50s for this time of year, though we are shooting for the middle 60s (around ten degrees above normal) yet again today! All of this nice weather is courtesy of an area of high pressure sliding to our SW, which will remain in control through early Saturday.
Don’t forget to catch COLEd Front tonight LIVE at 7:00 (or the archived version available soon after), as I will discuss the prospects of a wet second-half of the weekend, as well as a return to chilly weather (including flurry chances)! http://cincyforecast.com/blog/coled-front/
After a very nice Tuesday, today looks to bring much of the same! Expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 60s to be the norm, with even milder temps on tap for tomorrow! A weak disturbance is in the process of passing to our west (diving south through the Plains), though it won’t really affect us in any noticeable way. Our next chance of of rain will arrive by late Sat (heavy showers/storms).
After a somewhat chilly Monday, Tuesday looks to bring improving conditions with clearing skies (esp in the afternoon) and highs in the middle to upper 50s! The area of high pressure responsible for the pleasant weather will lock itslelf in place over the tri-state through the end of the work-week, thus giving us a stretch of nice weather (60s by late-week)!
Meteorological Spring (began March 1st) sure has been living up to its name as of late! We saw our first true taste of mild weather this past week with highs in the middle to upper 60s, which was much-welcome after the recent snowy/cold winter! Now I know this weekend was less than desirable with highs in the 40s, as well as what seemed like non-stop rain. HOWEVER, after tomorrow (Monday), we’ll once again be under the dominance of high pressure, with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the 50s/60s through Saturday! Before we get to that, we’ll have to deal with a fairly cloudy and cool Monday. Some models show spotty showers/drizzle, which makes sense given that we will still be on the fringe of the effects of an area of low pressure to our east. However, any precip that forms will be very isolated and light. After morning lows in the upper 30s, highs will top out in the upper 40s (50 at most) tomorrow afternoon.
What seemed like an endless slide down the “slippery slope” of cold air has finally ended! An area of high pressure has gained control of our weather, which will keep comfortable temperatures in store through the weekend! Get ready for middle 40s tomorrow, then lower to middle 50s for the weekend! I’ll have a full forecast update, plus my latest 7-day outlook, by 7pm!
