Active pattern setting up!

Posted by Trevor Cole in Daily Weather Updates on 30-03-2009

After a relatively quiet pattern as of late, expect things to ramp up over the next couple weeks! In the next seven days, I am tracking the possibility of the Ohio Valley being affected by THREE SEPARATE STORM SYSTEMS! That is not something that happens very often! Round number one will impact the area Tuesday-Wednesday morning. I don’t expect any major impacts on our weather other than passing showers/isolated thunderstorms. For Tuesday, expect temps to reach the middle 60s!

Magnificent Monday!

After a weekend dominated by a low pressure system (clouds, rain, and wind), the skies have cleared and the temperatures are rising to a fairly mild level. As of this post (noon), temps are in the 40s across the tri-state, which will continue to climb until they max out in the middle to upper 50s this afternoon.

Gloomy Monday

After a very cloudy and mild start to the day, skies are beginning to break up across the Ohio Valley. We were actually very lucky (depending on where you stand) as areas just to our south are enduring a long day of moderate to heavy rain (flooding in some areas—especially across AL/MS)! Get ready for a major warm-up starting tomorrow as an area of high pressure helps to pump in much warmer air (highs in the upper 60s/lower 70s)!

Daily Updates COMING SOON!

First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of weather updates as of late. I have been undergoing many time contraints due to other various activities, but now that those are winding down, daily updates will once again be present! New graphics, maps, and monthly/seasonal outlooks are going to take part in this “ressurection” of Cincy Forecast! Stay tuned! :-)

Warmer Wednesday!

BRRRRR! Jeez…I am getting tired of this cold weather! Well, all of us warm weather fans will get what we want over the next several days, starting on Wednesday! The area of high pressure located right over us at the current moment will finally slide to our east on Wednesday, allowing for warmer south/southwesterly winds to begin pumping into the area, which will really help to increase the temperatures! Look for highs in the upper 40s on Wednesday, with lower to middle 60s creeping into the area by late week!
