COLD!!!

First off…many area roads are still messy, so PLEASE take it slow out there! The flurries/snow showers we had off and on last night only amounted to a covering, however, that covering did accumulate on roads, many of which were icy/slushy/wet, helping to quicken the re-freeze process! Even if a road was cleared, it was most likley still wet, meaning that the formation of ice is still likely!
Today looks to be chilly with highs only making it to the upper 20s early on, before falling through the day! By tonight, temps will really begin to plummet, bottoming out in the single digits to near ZERO in some spots! That is some serious cold! Moving into the weekend, skies look to be partly to mostly cloudy, with highs rising into the upper 20s on Saturday and upper 30s on Sunday! However, new forecasting troubles lurk for early next week as a new storm system may take aim on the Ohio Valley! Some models show the storm staying to our east, while a few show us being burried by snow (10″+)! I will have a much better idea of what this next storm will do by midday Saturday, as we will be much closer to the onet, and the forecast models will hopefully be in better agreement…
