Winter Storm Update—6:30am EDT

Wow…the major winter storm CONTINUES across the tri-state, with the metro STILL enduring hefty amounts of falling freezing rain/sleet! The mixed precip will change to a quick thumping of snow by 7:30am for the metro, with a solid 1-4″ of accumulation. Folks, this is a major (catostrophic in some areas) winter storm, and the roads are horrific right now. PLEASE do not even attempt to travel…

I do believe that many side streets will still be slick tomorrow morning (even some icy patches on the main roads as well)! Take it slow out there! :)

Yeah, tomorrow (Fri) will have problems…roads are still slushy/wet, which will freeze up overnight…causing major problems for the commute!
